AprThis was a small abstract painting made by Amoretti, who asked me an intervention to complete it, and I just pulled out the shapes I saw. Sometimes we like pure informal abstract art, sometimes this is not enough and we need to get out something of it, it’s the artwork that speaks, we just follow the input it gives us.

AprThis is a work I made with my partner Paolo Amoretti. He began working on a long canvas on which he made a face that recalled me so much the creatures of nature, and so I continued with nature as flowers. I like how our styles and personalities so different, reflected in the use of different colors and techniques are so well integrated to create something new.

AprI made this face with ink by focusing on light and shadow to the opposite of what I usually do, so that the lights become shadows and vice versa. Each work for me is a challenge and I like to experience new things.

FebThis I did with my partner Paul Amoretti. In fact it was one of my old paintings, a portrait of an Indian woman which I didn’t like, and, as we often do with unsatisfactory results, we decided to recycle the canvas. So I started by applying a collage which I then removed with a decollage, Paul added there pink oil painting, unusual color for him and then I saw a bull there. The result we felt it was more than satisfying.
