Details revealed

This project is a series of photographs that explore the beauty and importance of details that often go unnoticed. These photographs are characterized by my pictorial eye, as if the photos were paintings. Sometimes I focus on a particular detail, like a texture or shape, creating images that look like abstract paintings. On other occasions, however, I focus on many details together, creating images that tell a more complex story. In any case, my photographs show how a seemingly insignificant detail can take on new meaning when brought into close-up. My photographs are an invitation to look beyond the surface of things and to discover the hidden beauty in the details that are discovered every day. The choice of black and white emphasizes the composition of shapes and lines.

These photographs will be exhibited in the collective photographic exhibition “The Metaphysics of Black and White” at Forte di Gavi, which opens on May 7, at Forte di Gavi AL and lasts until the end of June 2023.
