I have 2 paintings by Ilaria, From Nothing and Mysterious. From the Nothing is light and relaxing with great warm colors. Sometimes for me it is the face of a woman and sometimes that of a young man. It has simplistic lines that define the face and colors that define the shape of the face. He has a sense of kindness and knowledge. Mysterious is dark and chaotic, I see anxiety and sadness. It can also look feminine or masculine. They make a nice couple together, one complimenting the other. They show a lot of emotion and stimulate reflection.

I was lucky enough to meet Ilaria, I love her work! I have a beautiful portrait and also a painting that represents a dream, to see it better I hung it on the ceiling above the bed. Wonderful.

Ilaria is a really good artist, hard to find in today’s art market. I bought two paintings that are beautiful and alive. Highly recommend!

Since I hung it on the wall, every time I look at it, it gives me great strength.

On Friday I was home when your package arrived and I opened it eager to find my treasure. Thank you. What an artist you are!!! With just a few brush strokes you capture the main features of a face. The more I look at it, the more light seems to come from it. I guess it is the master you see in me. And the picture is ready to be hung on the wall!!! I immediately found the perfect place for him. It is in my office, next to my computer. So I see it every day, look at it to dive into the depths of my mastery, and even when I notice it distractedly, it is always there.

When I first saw the image of this work by Ilaria Berenice, it was like looking at myself in a mirror reflecting the chaos that I have been carrying inside me for a lifetime. Inside I saw Francis Bacon, I saw Giger, a darker Alex Grey, and even a bit of Borges’ minotaur. I waited months before I could go and pick it up and find out that in addition to this, two pencil portraits of William Burroughs that she had drawn in unsuspected times would be coming home with me. Needless to say here, but I’ll say it anyway, that beyond the works I finally had the opportunity to once again have a chat with someone who is able to teach you something new. Perhaps therein lies the strength of art.

Your work is good for the soul! Amidst a sea of colorful emotions, I chose a painting. I took away with me what was the perfect choice in that meeting, with that sweet mystery that you always put in your work. Your works also convey a message of depth similar to Modigliani’s works. You are amazing! You are very good and you transmit energy.

I put your painting above the living room sofa and it looks great. It gives the beholder a cosmic sense; the beholder finds himself projected into a timeless spatial dimension that has a strong archetypal cosmogonic appeal. You can free yourself from the depicted symbol and transmute it into abstraction that becomes objective correlative of the deeper natural call, intimately recognizable by all. Some of your abstract works are reminiscent of supernova events or the like, you manage to convey the feeling of this creative power, without communicating the materialistic scientific descriptive side, but you manage to capture the essence, keeping the symbol intact, albeit freed from symbolic representation and captured in an exciting form.
