Art and Life: A Journey Through Brushes and Flavors

In my artistic research, which is physical and metaphysical, I meditate and create, finding in the smallest detail of life my affinity with the universe. It is a path in which my inner world is reflected in the outer one, a continuous dialogue between being an integral part of a whole and the exploration of what makes me unique.

It is impossible to define my art: a fusion between arte povera and metaphysical painting? A free expression that reaches its peak in pure abstraction? Perhaps, it is the infinite faces of humanity that come to life in the creative act, or the humanized animals that reveal themselves through unconditional love. My art is the alchemy of destruction and reconstruction, the invisible that takes shape in the visible, and even the sensuality of food, in a continuous intertwining of emotions and creations.

The Sensuality of Food: An Art to Savour

Ah, the vision of a pasta carbonara, so seductive that even Casanova would envy it. The aroma that invades the kitchen is an irresistible invitation, a culinary flirtation that culminates in a taste: a moment of pure ecstasy, like a kiss under the full moon.

My relationship with food, however, has not always been so romantic. As a child, I ate almost nothing; I could have participated in a survival reality show without realizing it was a competition. Growing up, I went through extreme phases: from strict vegetarianism to flirting with breatharianism, where air and good intentions were my sustenance. But everything changed when I rediscovered the joy of taste: a simple piece of chocolate broke my last fast, teaching me that life without the pleasure of food is like a painting without color, even if the painting without color has its reason.

Cooking and Art: A Creative Dialogue

Not only have I stopped denying food and therefore my body, but in recent years the art of cooking has become a great passion. From the breakfasts and dinners prepared for the guests of my B&B to the dishes created as a cook in a restaurant, up to the new adventure as a private chef together with my partner, Paolo Amoretti. He too, in addition to being a great chef, is a painter artist with whom I share the passion for creativity in all its forms.

Cooking, for me, has become an extension of my art: a way to express emotions and create connections, celebrating life through flavors. Every dish is a work of art, every ingredient a note in a culinary symphony.

Life and Art: An Indivisible Union

For me, Art is Life and Life is Art. I used to feel that to elevate my soul I had to deny the body, isolating myself in nature and practicing fasts. Those moments of extreme sensitivity were similar to an expansion of consciousness. Now, however, I have learned to move beyond in a natural way, appreciating the sensuality of life in every detail. I continue to love solitude, but balanced with sharing, finding in both a balance that nourishes my creativity.
