Repayment options

The deadline for requesting a refund is 30 days from the date of purchase of the work. Keep in mind that each piece of artwork is handmade and one-of-a-kind; they are not mass-produced factory products.

I offer several methods of compensation for a returned item if the product is not damaged and the package is in proper condition:

  • Replacement. I will replace the work with another of the same size.
  • Cash repayment. I will refund you the cost of the item spent on the purchase.
  • Gift card. I will give you a Gift card equal to the cost of the item to use on my Site with another purchase.

Although you are free to choose your preferred compensation, I reserve the right to modify the list of available compensation options depending on the items returned, customer location, banking peculiarities, or other reasons that create difficulty or inconvenience for both Ilaria Berenice and customers.

How to return a purchased item

  • Fill out the form on the contact page correctly, indicating your order number, the product you are returning, the reason for return, and whether you are expecting a refund or replacement. If you do not mention your order number, I will not be able to process your return.
  • Repackage the work in the original box or crate and packaging.
  • Take your package to any post office and get proof of shipment for the tracking number-this will speed up the process and legitimize that your package is coming back to me.

You are responsible for the cost of shipping for returned items.

What happens next

  • I will email you once I have received your return in its original condition and processed your return.
  • The returned item will be inspected upon arrival.
  • If the condition in which an item was returned is not appropriate and is not in the same condition as when it was shipped, I will not make a refund.
  • If the condition of the returned item is appropriate, you will receive compensation within 10 business days depending on the payment method used to purchase the returned item.
  • If you used a Gift card to purchase the returned item, I will refund the money you paid with a new Gift card.
