Every time I talk about myself, the story changes. It’s as if I were many people at once, facets that complement each other. Solitude has taught me to listen to them all.
I began painting in Brazil as a self-taught artist, guided by instinct. At first, I made collages of fabrics and materials, using essential and symbolic forms. Upon returning to Italy, through exhibitions and encounters with other artists, I deepened my knowledge of painting, seeking detail and realism. But beyond the techniques, my art has always remained a symbolic and therapeutic language, a mirror of my innermost being.
Solitude, often feared, is a source of strength for me. It’s the space where I find balance, inspiration, and transformation. In it, I’ve understood that facing emptiness means finding oneself.
In the painting Desert, a solitary figure appears walking in the void, with a snake to symbolize fears, and birds in the sky as a promise of freedom.
My works are stages of an inner journey: from chaos to transformation, up to the light that shines within each of us.
I Am
That
Without
Nothing
Empty
Full
Of me
I Am
That I Am.
