Archipelago of Potentials

Title: Archipelago of Potentials
Year: c. 2010–2020
Size: 40 x 50 cm
Technique: Mixed media with recycled fabrics, sand and painting
Part of the Metamorphosis of Matter series, this work explores the emergence of potential as a field of living forms.
Cut from reclaimed fabrics, each shape evokes a seed in the process of becoming — a fragment of possibility not yet defined, yet already present.
Arranged across the surface like an archipelago, these forms exist both independently and in relation, suggesting a landscape of unfolding potential.
The textured ground, composed of oil and sand, anchors the composition in material reality, while the scattered elements point toward continuous emergence.
What appears as multiplicity is, in essence, a single field — where every form carries the quiet promise of becoming.
