Temple

Title: Temple
Year: 2025
Size: 50 x 70 cm cm
Technique: Mixed media on panel with collage, décollage, and painting
Temple unfolds through layered collage and material excavation, where construction and removal operate simultaneously.
Overlapping paper fragments were glued to the surface and later scraped back with a palette knife, allowing the image to emerge through subtraction as much as through addition. The work develops as a structural field rather than a planned composition.
Concentric frames stabilize the surface while the radiant center acts as a gravitational axis. The layered gestures create depth and internal movement, suggesting not a representation of a temple, but the experience of entering a constructed interior space.
Here, form is not symbolic — it is architectural.
The painting becomes a spatial threshold shaped by material intelligence and intuitive tension.
