Transfiguration of Being depicts a face in a process of transfiguration, with features dissolving into an artistic expression that defies the conventions of physical representation. The palette is dominated by expressive strokes and a mixture of colors that ebb and flow without restriction. Red, black, yellow, and shades of gray blend to create an image that captures the essence of the soul rather than the outward form. The contours of the face are broken, suggesting the fall of social identity and the emergence of something deeper: a temporary sensation, emotion, and feeling. What remains is the immortal essence of being, the soul itself, which I try to express through this visual transfiguration. The result is a work that invites the viewer to contemplate the many facets of human identity and its ephemeral nature compared to the constant and unchanging essence of the soul.
