Transfiguration
The Transfiguration series represents a view of the human face as a symbol of something deeper that goes beyond appearance.
In these abstract paintings, the identity given by facial features disappears, but still remains a presence that makes itself felt in a unique dimension, suspended between portraiture and pure abstraction.
This series explores the various aspects of being human, revealing what lies behind a physical appearance, an emotion, a feeling, a sensation.
Removing the mask of ego and personal identity, the series invites reflection on the boundary between the ephemeral and the eternal, the known and the unknown, capturing the most intimate and profound aspects of human existence and the very essence of my artistic metamorphosis.
