My artistic identity arises from this dialogue between inner light and human multiplicity, and finds its synthesis in the work Everyone Has Gold Inside.
Gold as a symbol of consciousness
For me, gold isn’t just a color: it’s the symbol of light and consciousness. In the logo, in the paintings, in the suns that recur as constant presences, it represents the beauty and inner potential that each of us carries within ourselves.
Through my works I try to remember that we all have a precious and luminous core, capable of shining like the sun.
The independent artist
My journey is made up of different stages: Brazil, where I began painting as a self-taught artist; Spain, with encounters and experiments; Italy, with exhibitions and in-depth studies.
I chose independence to pursue art as a vital need, leaving behind career paths that didn’t resonate with my essence. My painting is symbolic and transformative, an expression of freedom and inner exploration.
Ilaria and Berenice
“Ilaria” is the name I bear from my Italian family, linked to my great-grandfather, a painter who gave me my first creative inspiration.
“Berenice” is my soul, the deepest part of me, an inner teacher who reveals herself in the creative process. She’s my talisman, a thread that connects me to the spiritual dimension and reminds me that true success is living what I love.
The name “Ilaria Berenice” is therefore the fusion of the human and the divine, the everyday and the transcendent: a signature that represents not only an artist, but a vision.
