Chameleon

Title: Chameleon
Year: c. 2015–2026
Size: 40 x 60 cm
Technique: Mixed media with recycled objects, stones, and painting on panel
Part of the Metamorphosis of Matter series, this work explores transformation as adaptation, absorption, and quiet becoming.
Composed of reclaimed materials — stones, beads, fragments of objects — the chameleon emerges as a living surface, where identity is not fixed but continuously reshaped.
Each element carries a past, yet together they dissolve into a new form, blending into the surrounding space while remaining subtly present.
The act of camouflage becomes more than survival: it becomes a way of being — a fluid dialogue between self and environment.
In this quiet transformation, matter does not disappear. It learns to belong.
