Chromatic Dialogue is a painting that features a fusion of floral elements and a human face. I depicted the face is depicted abstractly with simple lines and shapes. I made the face with palette knife strokes a while I used liquid colors for the flowers.
Floral shapes burst energetically from the picture, with a vivid color palette and with petals expanding in all directions, giving a feeling of movement and vitality.
The contrast between the more sober and abstract depiction of the face and the vivid explosion of colors of the flowers creates a visual dialogue. This work is an exploration of the connection between humanity and nature and as a visual embodiment of human emotions through flowers.
The painting is exhibited at Villa Pallavicini in Serravalle Scrivia, AL.
