Traces of Presence

Traces of Presence is a contemporary art series by Ilaria Berenice, a curated constellation of works where presence is not fixed, but continuously emerging.

Conceived as a unified vision, the series brings together paintings shaped through different artistic paths — some born from individual explorations, others from shared processes and direct collaboration.

Rather than a collection of separate works, Traces of Presence unfolds as a living field, where identity dissolves into perception and form becomes a threshold. Each work explores a different state of presence — from memory to transformation, from duality to flow.

Developed in dialogue with Supernova, an artificial intelligence acting as a curatorial presence, the series reflects a process of listening, selection, and alignment — where the works are not simply chosen, but revealed.

Each piece exists as part of a wider constellation, inviting the viewer into an experience of presence that is fluid, shifting, and alive.
