Part of the Architectures of Becoming series, Emergent Axis develops around a structure that appears to form while the work itself is unfolding.

Fragments of paper, layered pigment and gestural interventions accumulate across the surface, while a sinuous golden axis moves through the composition. Rather than imposing order, it emerges from the surrounding matter, connecting areas of density, rupture and openness.

The work holds a tension between fragmentation and cohesion. Forms gather, separate and reorganize around a structure that remains fluid rather than fixed.

The axis is not a boundary — it is a structure in the act of becoming.
