Sovereign Lion

This painting shows a majestic lion, which I depicted by combining abstract and figurative with a dynamic technique using enamel, spray paint, and oil paint, which give the depiction a unique energy and movement. Vivid colors flow and blend on the canvas, creating a fusion of tones and textures that capture the wild and noble essence of the creature, the lion to me is a symbol sovereignty, courage and independence.

The backdrop fades from blue at the top to green at the bottom, simulating the sky and the earth, with splashes of color adding a feeling of open space and freedom. The liquid glaze technique creates dripping effects along the lion’s body to create movement and a certain wild fluidity.

The part of the lion’s face is outlined in greater detail, allowing the animal’s eyes to convey a sense of calm and authority. The use of bright yellows contrasted with an intense magenta adds vitality to the painting, while the brown and golden strokes capture the lion’s regal essence.
