Wild Echo is a work of abstract art that plays with texture and contrast. I used a combination of techniques that leave a variety of strokes on the canvas. The technique and movement of the strokes are created by an energetic and spontaneous approach to the creation of this work.
The figure is the wolf’s head, tilted upward, as if it were howling. The movement and blending of colors create a silhouette that, through the lens of abstraction, evokes the image of a wolf issuing its call. Abstract interpretation provides room for imagination and personal expression, so what one person sees may be different from what another can perceive. This is one of the most fascinating aspects of abstract art: it invites the viewer to look for meanings and figures within shapes and colors that may not be immediately obvious.
This work is exhibited at the Capriccio Art Hotel in Serravalle Scrivia, AL.
