For this abstract artwork, New Ways, made on wood, I used a variety of liquid paints, glazes and resins, applied in numerous layers and layers to create complex depth. I let each layer dry completely before applying the next. This creation process, which lasted for years, required patient experimentation and a constant search for the perfect balance between movement, depth, brightness, shapes and shades. Shades of red, gold, purple and blue blend in unpredictable ways, offering the viewer a visual experience that changes with each new observation.
This work is exhibited at the Capriccio Art Hotel in Serravalle Scrivia, AL.
