Nature represents a great source of inspiration for me, is a starting point from which to then go deeper with abstraction, working on color and light, and how these elements are connected. There are no graphic boundaries or limitations, but rather an infinite interconnection. The painting evokes a wide horizon stretching over the ocean, a symbol of infinity.
This painting, Ocean of Connections, is an example of how abstraction can merge with representation to evoke the immensity and depth of nature. The canvas opens onto an ocean scene where the distinction between sky and sea is barely perceptible, blending the boundaries with a color palette ranging from deep blue to crystal blue and pastel pink. In the center, a dolphin emerges energetically from the water, a symbol of freedom and grace, surrounded by vivid splashes that catch the light and reflect it in a play of brilliance.
Above, the sky is animated by freely gliding birds, and clouds are depicted with touches of color that suggest their softness and changeability. What I wanted to create and to convey is the feeling of a world without limits: there are no sharp lines or rigid structures, but rather forms flowing into one another, an artistic representation of this interconnectedness. My reflections on light and color result in an image that is not only to be seen, but to be felt, inviting the viewer to contemplate the infinity of connections that bind every element of nature.
