In this painting, People in the light, made with acrylics and enamels on wood, I wanted to convey a strong sense of spirituality and connection between the abstraction of color and figurative representation. The work develops in two distinct phases, which dialogue with each other in a harmonious way. In the first phase, I focused on creating a play of light and color, where the warm and vibrant tones of pink and purple surround a luminous central core. This core, which manifests itself as a radiant sun, is a recurring element in my painting, a symbol of vital energy and the center of gravity of experiences.
In the second phase, stylized human figures emerge, instinctively inserted into the abstract environment. These people float or move towards the light, as if attracted by it, recalling a sense of spirituality and inner search. The figures are indistinct, almost evanescent, suggesting that what unites them is not their individuality, but rather their connection with the light, which can be interpreted as a symbol of truth and consciousness.
The whole conveys the idea that, even in the abstraction of existence and in the complexity of human experiences, there is a center, a light. to which all people are drawn and in which they find a sense of belonging. Light becomes the meeting point between the individual and the universal, between the corporeal and the spiritual.
