Lioness

The work depicts a vigorous and intense lioness. I used a mixed technique that gives a richness of texture and a variety of hues. Oil paints, glazes and acrylics are blended together to create a three-dimensional effect. The lioness emerges from the background with a piercing gaze, and the choice of colors, from warm shades of yellow and brown to the coolness of green and blue creates a visual contrast that emphasizes the animal’s royalty and power. The painting evokes the wild spirit of nature, encapsulated in a moment of art.
