Swan Alchemy

This painting is part of the series “Decollage and Painting,” a collection in which images emerge spontaneously and reflect an alchemical journey of transformation through creation, destruction and rebirth. Created on a layered base of paper collage on panel, the painting represents a process that embraces chaos and the unexpected, bringing out shapes and figures without premeditation. In this work, the figure of a swan in particular stands out, a symbol of elegance and purity, which seems to appear as an unexpected and organic element, symbolizing a spiritual elevation and a sense of inner grace. Layers of vivid color and abstract details are alternated with moments of decollage, in which surfaces are scraped or sanded to reveal hidden fragments. The presence of intense colors such as red, blue and yellow evokes energy, while the lines and textures recall a dance of contrasts between order and disorder. This work, like the whole series, symbolizes my inner journey, an exploration of the essence and complexity of artistic expression, where each layer and each sign bears the trace of a spontaneous and profound gesture.
